EAC Mission Statement

What is the Election Advisory Committee?

The Election Advisory Committee serves as a public liaison between the voters of Missoula County and the Board of County Commissioners and Election Administrator. The committee is structured as so:

Committee Membership 

Consists of nine voting members and three alternates; limit of three consecutive three-year terms. 

  • Seven citizens at-large, including the alternate, appointed by the Missoula Board of County Commissioners.
  • One appointed member will be a person with extensive knowledge regarding the application of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
  • One university/college student, appointed by the Missoula Board of County Commissioners.

  • When: 3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, April 8, July 8, and Oct. 14
  • Where: Missoula Elections Office Building A - 140 N. Russell St. or online via Microsoft Teams
