MEASLES
It's Not Just a Little Rash
Measles is highly contagious.
Symptoms of the Measles include:
- a high fever
- runny nose
- cough
- red/watery eyes
- a rash that spreads from head to toe
Protection -

MMR VACCINE - Ensure you & your family are up to date. If you are not, then get vaccinated! Two doses of MMR vaccine are 97% effective against Measles.

SUSPECTED MEASLES - First, call your provider or the Health Dept. at (406) 258-3896 to be safely assessed. DO NOT go to your provider's office without calling first! Precautions may need to be put in place before you arrive so that others are not exposed.

TRAVEL - Check the measles risk at your destination.
